The host committee for the 12th annual DEKALB SuperSpiel has been hard at work setting the stage for this year’s event, running November 1 – 4, 2019.  The arena has been booked and Greg Ewasko and his crew will be here to prepare the ice for curling.  The Morris Curling Club has had ice all summer with lots of action throughout the summer.  The event will again be held in the Morris Multiplex and the Morris Curling Club so curlers and fans can easily walk between venues without leaving the facility.

Small town hospitality can be expected from the kick-off on Friday, November 1st until the trophies are presented on Monday November 4th.  Fans can expect some excellent shot making and a great curling atmosphere.  Fans can choose to watch on ice level in the arena or in the comfort of the curling club viewing area but with TV’s from the overhead on ice cameras for better viewing – now for both the upstairs and downstairs viewing.

Come on out and meet our great sponsors and curlers from across Canada and the World.  We especially welcome our New Zealand curlers.  They will be joining us in time for the DEKALB SuperSpiel and will be staying in Morris to work and curl with us for the next 6 months.  We are looking forward to introducing them to curling in Manitoba and to training with them at the Cargill Curling Training Centre here in Morris.
